For the longest time Halal has been forced on the food industry by the immovable rigid stance of Muslims.

All over the world. Halal certification.

Why not have Muslim specific meat industry cater to world Muslims, and leave the rest of the world alone?

After all, there are over 8 billion people on earth.

Only 1.6 billion people holding the meat industry killing practices to ransom.

It seems I misspoke.

Halal certified meals will still be served on specific routes (Jeddah, etc.) if pre-booked.

But at least Hindus and Sikhs will now have the non Halal meat preparations as standard fare.

No cause for anyone to complain.
