Here is Kunming Changshui Airport, closest large Chinese city airport to Bangladesh (about ~800 miles). The airport for this 3rd tier city in China looks to be larger than LAX, or Mumbai or Istanbul. Now imagine what the larger cities in China (and their airports and train terminals) look like.

I don't know how to explain. In fact, this is corruption. Unnecessary construction. I don't know how many billion yuan it costs. How many have entered the wallets of officials.

Well this is a global phenomenon. Overspending on construction so officials take a bigger cut. What can us citizens do? Except report and criticize?

At least Kunming has an airport that will not need to be expanded for a while. And was built far cheaper than would be 20 years later.

Real estate sector gone, railway in huge loss, domestically made jets are down and out of service, 40% kindergarten closed, social system is spoiled, very low birth rate, average age 13 years higher than India, girls choosing more and more prostitution. China will cease to exist in next 80 years. South Korea in next 40 years. Write off China. There is going to be some big big turmoil in next few decades. I foresee very few countries like India, Indonesia surviving. Geopolitical changes are happening very fast. Equations are changing very rapidly. Only countries with spiritualism and culture will survive.
