The Chinese figured it out a loooong time ago, but kept mum and acted astutely to increase their foothold in world trade with entry to the WTO etc.

Now they are in a position to not care what the West plans or does.

Well - relatively speaking.

They also hold a major portion of the US national debt, so they're in a good spot.

Kishore Mahbubani's videos in YT and his writings are a good indication of what is happening, within reason.

Mr. Mahbubani, because of his position as an academic of some stature (coveted at Harvard, Cambridge and Oxford) will not delve into the West's penchant for troublemaking around the world, only making hints at it. He does make the case that this hobby has been the West's undoing of late.

I don't know why Indian propaganda people get their panties in a twist about this recent battle and who won. Those that consider Chinese weapons will always buy Chinese, they won't even look at Indian weapons, period. And very few of the IAF platforms are indigenous Indian anyway.

Certainly something to be said about pilot skills instead of J-10 "capability".

A well-capable and well-trained pilot will do great with a limited platform because he/she will know its limitation and work around them to squeeze maximum benefit out of their steeds.

Look at the defence of Chinese weapons by @Bilal9.

Generally Pakistan claims that their pilots are very skilled. Bilal is ready to declare them less trained or less skilled to defend Chinese weapons. If You ask him about the drone attack failure , he will find some excuse to defend it. If you ask him why 5 PL 15 landed without exploded, he will give reasons for that as well.

Infact, we should give credit to China that they have been able to develop their mouth pieces across the many nations (Including India) who will defend any failure of China even when it hurts their country.

When Pakistan was spending money on Chinese weapons, I had said many times that they are doing a great favor to India by doing it. There can't be any batter news than your enemy buying substandard weapons. What I was saying is proved to right.

Now, I think Pakistan is trying to buy PL 17. No matter, it will meet the same fate.
