This is what happens when the people are not in charge of the country's management. People would never sell their own properties to foreigners or destroy their own country.
Yaar we're not goin be around for much if this sorta thing continues happening. Problem is (I mean forget ghareeb/ deen miskeen Egypt here for a moment) our country is a security state like most muslim countries are, but we need student organizations/ progressive political parties and political reform to challenge a CIA backed military junta hell bent on undermining our nation. Putting CIA/ foreign interests above our own is not acceptable. It's a disgusting reality. No need to be Islamic nor sectarian/ socialist nor activist to realize this abomination. Look at the Irani youth when they viciously cracked down on the mulla's/ IRGC on hijab and street policing/ harassment drama. Now, in richer Iranian neighborhoods, you don't need to wear hijab nor play mulla nor jihadi and people beat up a religious person if he tries to interfere in your personal affairs. Our people just refuse to challenge authority. I guess appeasement is part of our psyche. Laanat howay hamari awaam per.
