Meteorologists have predicted that Indian subcontinent will face 22% heavier rains in monsoon 2026 than monsoon 2025. This has sent shockwaves in Pakistan which might face super-floods. Pakistan faced superfloods in 2021 and floods in 2025. Floods expected in 2026 might approach the 2021 level.
Indian govt may remain the silent factor in these floods as the role of Indian dams in controlling these floods remains unpredictable. Pakistan has accused India of using dams for "water terrorism" by first withholding water and then deluge the rivers with hugh quantities of water in short amount of time.
Bangladesh might also be in the line of fire.
