Congrats on Bharat becoming global "Scremjet" terrorist.

So, how many bhookhey, nangey, naatey Indians will these "Scremjets" have fed?

This is the question many Indians need to ask - how could such misplaced priorities get implemented.

Mangalayaan+Chandrayaan+"Scremjet"= hundreds of millions of bhookhey (hungry) Indians.

This is how India's per capita GDP nominal got to be way worse than Bangladesh and its hunger status in the Global hunger index got to be dead last, dozens of steps behind Bangladesh.

And now - hypersonic garbage won't even help, Trump bhi mana kar dia hai tere chaiwala ko, you are staring at nuke annihilation dead in the eye, all alone.

This is how deep state regime change comes to India, tighten your seat belts.

Bunch of morons running your country...SMH....

What else you Bhuke Bengalis can do? We have eliminated Hunger poverty and your PM is begging with 50000 tones of rice from India. While you are giving all this Gyan to India, why don't you advice this to your government who spend on defense while Bengali is always hungry is a Proverb "Bhukha Bengali" and spend on those 6 Shitty pistons powered drone. What happened to those drones bought to bring air power parity in region?

Anyway, Do not be panic. These are not for BD. It will be a waste of money if this missile is fired against any asset of BD as missile itself shall be many times costlier than the asset we can destroy with this plane. So just Chill and argue something on behalf of your master China.

India Fires Up Hypersonic Race, DRDO's Scramjet Test May Redraw Asia's Missile Map | Rivals On Edge?

New Delhi, April 30 -- India seems to have taken a big step toward developing its own hypersonic weapons arsenal. In the latest achievement, DRDO successfully tested scramjet combustor for 1,000 seconds. The latest test is a continuation of the earlier one in January 2025, which lasted 120 seconds. See less

HGV is in advance stage of completion. Scramjet powered hypersonic cruise missile will have a range of atleast 2000 k.m. straight from horses' mouth.

1,500 KM At Mach 8 Speed To Dodge Radars: India Set To Test Advanced Hypersonic Missile Developed Under 'Project Vishnu'

The missile, developed under Project Vishnu, is all set to be tested. Once tested successfully, India will be able to hit enemy deep inside its territory with a speed that will render radars and air defence systems useless.

In a major step to bolster the nation's defensive and offensive capabilities, India is set to test an advanced hypersonic missile - the Extended Trajectory-Long Duration Hypersonic Cruise Missile (ET-LDHCM).

It would be the most sophisticated hypersonic missile developed entirely in India using domestic technology by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in partnership with private Indian defence firms.

Mach 8 speed, highest so far

The missile has been developed under Project Vishnu. The missile will enhance India's capability to hit deep inside Pakistan and China with a maximum speed of Mach 8, which is about 11,000 km/hour. Mach 8 refers to a speed eight times that of sound.

A missile above Mach 5 is classified as hypersonic. At Mach 8, the ET-LDHCM will be able to dodge any radar and air defence systems

Once tested successfully and inducted into the armed forces' armoury, it will significantly bring a shift in the power balance in Asia and the subcontinent.

With a range of about 1,500 km, the ET-LDHCM can carry both conventional and nuclear warheads of up to 2,000 kg. As part of its indigenous technology, the missile is equipped with a scramjet engine, which draws air from the atmosphere for the combustion of fuel, thereby contributing to sustaining the hypersonic quality for a longer time.

The scramjet engine's 1,000-second ground test has already been completed by the DRDO.

Second hypersonic missile test within year

The missile will traverse at low altitude, another key feature that will help in deceiving radars, and will have the ability of in-flight manoeuvres. Its heat-resistant metal body raises its threshold to 2,000 degrees Celsius.

This remarkable feat will come within a year of India's first successful test of a long-range hypersonic missile in November 2024, putting it in a group of nations possessing the advanced technology. The missile has a range of over 1,500 km and a top speed exceeding Mach 5.
