How was she a dictator? Had she grabbed the reign with Military Cue or by doing genocide? Those who got the power from back door without people's mandate are calling an elected Prime minister a Dictator. Many people who cannot win election in India are dreaming a similar situation in India to grab power from back door. However, they will never success as Indian army is not corrupt and inserting moles in higher position is not possible.
She was not an elected prime minister. She remained in power for so long by election engineering and by putting thousands of opposition leaders into jail. Her government was directly involved in enforced disappearances and murders. She killed almost two thousand school/college/university students from July to August 2024. Learn the history of Bangladesh before you make comments on Hasina and Awami League.

You are portraying BG as a rogue country which can be ruled for 2 decade by a Dictator. Isn't it an insult of BD as a country?

No, because we have evicted the autocrat from our soil. India was also ruled by the East India Company/British royal family for 200 years. So, are you ready to call India a rogue state?

Was Hasina a foreigner? Did she get into her position by force without winning election? Or she captured PM position byilitary cue? Atleast make some genuine comparison.

So what? What happened in Bangladesh has proved that any politician in a country like Bangladesh need to play safe.
Quit spending so much time on Bangladesh because your own country is electing a die hard Hindu fundamentalist party to power for so many years creating discords among Indians and with your neighbors. Why even have a paragraph in the constitution regarding secularism when the voters themselves want to turn India into a Hindu country. Hypocrisy at its peak.

Believe me, we do not have any interest in Bangladesh and most of Indians do not know in which side of India Bangladesh it. Bangladesh is in highlight in Indian media because of what happened to Hindus in Bangladesh. We wish that they are safeguard by Indian government in by settling them near Indian border with a sovereign right to handle their affairs. That is the only concern we have. With the development what we have seen in BD, we can see in which direction does BD is heading and what will be its future.

Bangladesh is the largest market for India in South Asia. We inject $30-40 billion into poor Indian economy. On the other hand, India has minuscule contribution($1.5 billion) to Bangladesh's economy. It is India not Bangladesh which is irrelevant in our bilateral relation. If we cancel the transit deal you will lose the safest route to transport military/economic merchandize to your North-East region. The transit fee was calculated to be Tk. 1058 but Hasina gave transit to India at Tk. 192. You are getting almost free transit from Bangladesh. We have dismantled ULFA which is the main reason your North-East is stable now. Without Bangladesh's support you cannot even maintain your territorial integrity.
