Dry Kaveri under testing In Russia meeting the design parameters. New technologies developed working well. It is making the way for Keveri K10 which shall atleast be equivalent to F404. High temperature resistant alloys, Thermal Barrier coating worked very well in testing. Thermal Barrier coating also tested in recent Hypersonic scremjet test. Weight is 15% high. An effort will be made to reduce it in K10.

well as per my knowldge they are already devloping three differnt variants or variations realted to technologies developed from Kaveri programme and both israelies & french are helping them sure the results will be out is some time but not what US anticipates ... indians are just buying time

With the development of technologies such as high temperature alloy, thermal barrier coating and successful test of Kaveri in Russia gives a confidence to make a workable engine. We can make it happen in few year if the program is sufficiently funded. With new design and new research, it is possible to have a workable Kaveri in few years of time.
