They could do healthy cooked subzi and daal which is not watered down like they do it canteens/dhabas all over... some salad some mithai, break pe chai biscut samosa.. aaram se kaam ho jayega required cals ka.

Eggs toh bhot log khate hai in Hindu samudai, but many draw the line there.. no chicken meat.. similarly some people only eat fish for non veg but wont touch even chicken or eggs 🤷‍♂️

In Bangladesh these are called Samosa (smaller flat ones) which are normally served with Chai tea in polite company.

And what they call larger Punjabi Samosas in India are called Shingaras in Bangladesh. These huge ones are actually served as school lunches there, along with bananas.

@Saif bhai, is this still true?

I believe onion pakoras are also consumed (along with the above samosas) in iftar (evening "breaking of fast" meal) which are called "Peyaju" in Bangladesh.

As good as Indian snacks are (both North and South) - we lack the variety one can find in China, even with Halal Hue Muslim cuisine. @Jiangnan this is centered mostly in Chengdu I believe, right?

Chengdu is next on my Culinary adventure.
