Well when you start working in the US - you let me know how you can manage...."do as in Rome" only "works a little" and not a lot.

I am heavily invested with Real estate and other investments in this country, am a "model minority" of sorts in the US, have my own circle of highly placed (some would say moderately wealthy) desi friends. Not much leeway to go anywhere else for now even if the entire US gets to be a MAGA hellhole.

I hear property in Japan is dirt cheap, so the suburbs of Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka or Nagoya maybe good investments for a summer home.
