My kid brother is a senior VP and a real big shot. But he still loves and dearly misses his old Swift.

Suzuki just makes beautiful cars.

Mine is a 2005 Baleno.

The all Suzuki encompassing/ nostalgia/ utility/ economy/ price/ aesthetics.......of the Swift/ Maruti of our youth is this Hustler now. Its actually combining the Suzuki van and Swift into this hybrid:

They even got the trail/ jungle version for expeditions/ hikes.....its just too cute and every teenager girl wants one:

It was plenty fast stock. Regularly took her to 180 in her and my younger days on the expressway (in its younger days).

Jimmy or Jimmny was a rugged beast from our era. It went where no man dared when wes wuz kidz. It was truly our dream safari machine. They got new renditions of it here in Japan......it still looks great, just not as hardcore Jap 1980's marketing.

My friend Hussain Hashwani from high school had a Ferrari 420 GTO custom built for him......They'd send him updates on a brochure on where the power train was in assy or where the seamstress was on sewing/ cushioning up the seats and the smelting of the alloy wheels etc......Bhai I felt like a peasant glaring over those brochures......being the middle child of medical doctor parents in the 1980's, and Hussain Hashwani's dad owned the Pearl continentals and the Holiday Inn's in Karachi/ Isloo/ And ten other cities.

He hung out with the Avari's and the Khambatta's and the Ardeshir's and Esfandiari's and the Isfahani's and the Tehrani's and the Mengals and the Rinds and the Somroo's and the Gilani's and the Marri's and the Effendi's and Laghari's and Zehri's.......
