I was hanging out in taxila (sircap) area and a middle aged man saw me and came walkin over to sell me a Greek coin he'd dug up in his backyard doing farming.

I still got it somewhere.

Hard to believe sharma both da Greeks and Irani's were in taxila so long ago where Ashok kingdom was centered at.

I posted about this village once, not sure where.. high up in a mountain here in Himachal.. those people and their lore says they they're the descendants of Greek army defectors who became wanderers and settled there.. or something, after the fall of Sikandar

Udhar you cant touch them or step into their property, or big fines.. they even have their own constitution lol. Throw money across the counter and they throw the goods back at you, no touching money at same time even.

I never quite gotten over that, full ripley's believe it or not wala hisaab.

I spent some time as a little boy in Jordan in very late 80s in Aqaba , right next to Eilat.

Mast crystal clear waters, hardly any waves and kinda rocky sa beach tha.. super nice ! King ki yacht used to be anchored right there in the shallows.

Man, nostalgy is weird.. back then it was very nice, was a literal grape vine growing on the building, we'd pluck and eat em straight.. and a nice old Palestinian lady (my mom tells me) used to make me steam kebab in grape leaf (which I kinda remember), Mom, being veggie, abstained of course, but I gobbled it down.. ekdum magical childhood, it is so sad to see the place now on the news with all the wars, terrosism, killings.. bc

ajeeb sa scene hai.. I can only but wobble my head in Gangou sad biwilderment.. okokok :(

lol
