6h ·Make no peace with evil! To be a Zoroastrian is to be a warrior for Truth, one who strives for the highest excellence, who upholds righteousness-not for reward, but for the sake of righteousness itself! We are the defenders of mankind's happiness, we are champions of justice, and bearers of the sacred flame!
As followers of Ahura Mazda, we align only with Good! Evil has no place in the heart of an Ashavan.
We do not compromise with falsehood, nor do we stand idle in the face of injustice. Asho Zarathustra instructs in Yasna 46:4 to battle with the wicked with all heart and soul, and he declared himself "the staunch enemy of liars and falsehood" in Yasna 43:8!
As Zoroastrians, we have a sacred duty to be in service to humanity and to make the lives of all those around us better and better. We are not here to be passive observers, surrendering to suffering and calling it "God's will", never!
Ahura Mazda gave us freewill and the divine powers of thought, word, and deed so that we may shape the course of this world. Life is not predestined, it is a continuum.
Every moment, we are called to choose Asha over Druj (The Lie) and to uplift, to heal, to protect, and to build.
Life is a battlefield between good and evil and God did not create us to watch the world fall into decay, he created us to stand and fight as his co-workers in creation to carry the light forward and to guide this world toward its goal of perfection (Frashokereti).
This is the glory Mazda shares with us!
