China is too strong compared to Syria. However, China does not have good exposure in fighting with Militancy and terrorism. If Uyghurs ally with a good inelegance agency of China's enemy country, properly train and motivates its fighters, maintains proper supply line of weapons and backs their operations with proper funding, they can fight a long war against China. They need to identify and target high value targets in China to be a noticeable group with negotiation potential.

Yeah I’ve heard about that book. Lots of battles between the talibs and the US military over 20 odd years. The US won all of em, but lost the war.

I wouldn't say they lost. They won it, in a hurry, but were always dealing with pockets of resistance, tough resistance and ambush guerilla tactics.. was impossible to hold land, even if it was ok to take land. They'd march in, clean villages on talis, do shuras with the elders, everyone all happy happy.. the moment they packed up and left, Talis fatt se wapas .. and village elders became tali loyalists again.
