Revenge has come after 2 weeks. Afterall justice is served. However, this is not enough. Keep hitting each and every camps of these terrorists. I am sad that the terrorist on the other side of border were hit and not the terrorists of Kashmir were hit. Kashmir Mosques of Indian side should also have been hit. Why spare the Desi Terrorists?

New Delhi: Indian Air Force carried out targeted strikes on multiple air defence radars and systems in Pakistan on Thursday morning in response to a series of failed drone and missile attacks by Pakistan on military bases across Northern and Western India during the night of May 7–8.According to Defense Ministry, the strikes were precise and limited to systems involved in the attempted attacks, including the destruction of an air defense unit in Lahore, which was reportedly sourced from China.
Unprovoked firing by Pakistan Army
Pakistan had attempted to hit key Indian military installations in cities such as Avantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj. However, India’s air defense systems successfully intercepted all incoming threats, and no damage was reported.In response, India launched drone strikes on several Pakistani cities, aiming only at military assets directly linked to the earlier attacks. The Defence Ministry described the operation as measured and defensive, affirming that India had acted within its rights to protect its territory and citizens.
Meanwhile, Gurdaspur district administration ordered complete blackout in the district from 9 pm on May 8 to 5 am on May 9.

Meanwhile, on the Line of Control (LoC), Pakistan intensified unprovoked shelling in the Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar, and Rajouri sectors. This heavy mortar and artillery fire resulted in the deaths of 16 civilians, including three women and five children. India responded to the firing, and officials said this retaliation forced the Pakistani side to halt its aggression.Indian government warned that any further provocation by Pakistan will be met with a strong and appropriate response. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation but reiterated that India remains committed to peace—provided Pakistan refrains from hostilities.

The Indian government on Thursday said Indian Armed Forces targeted Air Defence Radars and systems at a number of locations in Pakistan. This comes a day after India's targeted strikes against terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.
It has been reliably learnt that an Air Defence system at Lahore has been neutralised, said the government.
"Indian response has been in the same domain with the same intensity as Pakistan."

The government also said that Pakistan on the night of 07-08 May attempted to engage a number of military targets in Northern and Western India including Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj, using drones and missiles.
These were neutralised by the Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems, added the government.
The debris of these attacks is now being recovered from a number of locations that prove the Pakistani attacks. In addition to this, Indian Air Force S-400 Sudarshan Chakra air defence missile systems were fired last night against targets moving towards India. The targets were successfully "neutralised" in the operation multiple domain experts told ANI.

Pakistan has increased the intensity of its unprovoked firing across the Line of Control using Mortars and heavy-calibre Artillery in areas in Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar and Rajouri sectors in Jammu and Kashmir, said the government.
Sixteen innocent lives have been lost, including three women and five children, due to Pakistani firing.
"Here too, India was compelled to respond to bring Mortar and Artillery fire from Pakistan to a halt. Indian Armed Forces reiterate their commitment to non-escalation, provided it is respected by the Pakistani military"

New Delhi: The Centre on Thursday confirmed that ‘Operation Sindoor’ is not over yet with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh informing an all-party meeting that nearly 100 terrorists have been eliminated so far.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju mentioned that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said 'Operation Sindoor is an ongoing operation'. He made the statement while addressing the media after the all-party meeting.
The announcement comes a day after India carried out precision airstrikes deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), targeting terror hideouts in retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir, where 26 civilians were killed. The Resistance Front, a Pakistan-backed group, had claimed responsibility for the killings.
India’s counter-offensive, named ‘Operation Sindoor’, stands for Strategic Initiative for Neutralizing Destructive Opponents with Overwhelming Retaliation. In the aftermath, Pakistan has responded with cowardly retaliatory acts, including shelling in civilian areas of Poonch and Amritsar, and reportedly targeting religious sites. Eyewitnesses at a Gurudwara in Poonch claimed the intensity of the attack was unprecedented, calling it a "new low" in Pakistan’s hostility.
Late Wednesday night, Pakistani missiles were launched toward Punjab , but India’s air defence system intercepted and neutralised them mid-air. The incident caused temporary power disruptions in the region, but electricity was restored by early morning.
Meanwhile, suspicious drone activity was also reported near the India-Pakistan border in Kutch, Gujarat , where a drone exploded after hitting a high-tension power line. Police and security agencies are investigating the matter.
The government has assured that the armed forces remain on high alert, and further responses will follow as needed.

Pakistani Cities Under Attack? Blast Reported From Karachi, Lahore And Other Cities
A series of explosions reportedly took place in the Pakistani cities of Lahore and Karachi on Thursday.
According to reports, three blasts occurred in Lahore, a city in Pakistan's Punjab province, this morning, sparking panic among locals, who fled their homes fearing for their lives.
In Karachi, residents reportedly heard the sound of an explosion near Sharafi Goth in Malir.
Frightened by the blasts, people in Lahore began rushing out of their homes in search of safety.
Chaos erupted in Lahore as residents fled following three consecutive explosions on Walton Road. Clouds of smoke filled the city’s skyline as panic spread through the streets.
Local sources reported two loud blasts near Askari 5, with smoke visible from the Naval College area, according to Samaa TV. Another explosion was also reported earlier today in the Burki district, as per MM News.
Commercial flights have been suspended at both Lahore and Sialkot airports until noon on Thursday amid escalating border tensions.
These incidents follow Indian military strikes targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. Indian forces struck four terrorist targets, including the Jaish-e-Mohammed headquarters in Bahawalpur (Punjab province), while destroying five additional targets in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, as per reports.
Additionally, unverified reports suggest that Indian drones struck targets in Lahore, Attock, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Mianwali, Chor, and Karachi.

India has negated Pakistan's overnight attempts to escalate tension with India by targeting military installations in the northern and western parts of the country. Pakistani missiles and drones were "neutralised by the Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems".
Indian armed forces responded this morning by targeting Air Defence radars and systems at a number of locations in Pakistan, including Lahore.

During the Press Briefing on Operation SINDOOR on 07 May 2025, India had called its response as focused, measured and non-escalatory. It was specifically mentioned that Pakistani military establishments had not been targeted.
It was also reiterated that any attack on military targets in India will invite a suitable response.
