I think for H1B and even tourist visas, a rather high safety deposit is being proposed (something like $15,000~$30,000 per US visa or so depending on visa).

This is good practice, given visa overstays by people from various countries are rampant. You overstay, you lose the money.

Don't lump people together in a religion. Islam says no such thing.

Give specific example.

I have no problem having friends from different religions, maybe you do (being an andhbhakt).

Respect to everyone, and their respective religions.
