Thats largely the case in India too (Shia dosti, comfort level, Imambarra tak jaana).

Just clarifying to Bagheera that there is a difference between Parsis and Irani Zoroastrians (who we call Iroons). Mainly in terms of when they came to India (Pakistan). And the language they speak at home. Gujarati vs Dari. Though most young Iroons also speak Gujarati. Difficult for such a small community to talk to each other otherwise. Especially when they marry and have kids, and live in the same house.

Pakistani Parsis went back n forth all the time. So there's no time line or anything. People freely traveled back in da day...... I've been friends with many Karachi parsis my class friends who'd go vacation in Iran all the time.

At my school we had a class of 32 boys and 7 were Parsis. So I know a lot about them.

2 left in Karachi, and 3 moved to Australia and 2 to Canada.......most hate their new overseas lives now cuz theys just not happy in alien worlds. Just like any of my muzlim friends......So whats new bhai?
