Iran starts the construction of a 5000 Megawatts nuclear reactor on the shores of Persian Gulf..Interesting they did not say which country is supplying the reactors..or may be this news is just for coming elections and is only propaganda by IR..future will tell!.

More details about Iran's 5000 Megawatts nuclear power plant:

  • Includes 4 reactors with each reactors generating 1250 Megawatts of electricity (Note Bushehr rector is 1000 Megawatts)
  • Located in town of "Syryak" and facility is named "iran Hormuz".
  • An industrial town will be established in the site
  • Investment of $15 billion dollars
  • This project is part of a 20 ,000 Megawatt nuclear power to be completed for the next 18 years..1420
Note : I hope this is not the same promise like building the Persian gulf Bridge to Qeshm that was supposed to be complete by now..Mullahs lie and lie and lie with no shame!!🤔🤔

TEHRAN-SHOMAL Freeway
  • Iran's largest Road construction mega project;
  • Connects Capital city to shores of Caspian sea;
  • 150 km of most difficult terrain imaginable passing through mighty Alborz mountain range
  • 45 years to build 52% of the 150 km, 4 lane divided highway done with no estimate to completion for the remaining section.
  • Several $billion dollars spent so far and many more to go.
  • A marvel of Engineering and tunneling and bridge construction including West Asia longest Tunnel 6.5km (Alborz tunnel).
Note: This mega project will take approximately 10 to 15 years for Western construction companies to finish. IN Iran due to budgeting ,sanction and learning curve on the technical side it has take much much longer...
Of the 4 sections two are under traffic as of this post.

Is the Alborz mountain region open to foreign visitors?

As far as I know no restriction..In Iran they just do not like people with Drones..for obvious military reasons..travel to north is completely open and encouraged because it is the vacation land of Iran..
Thank you. Please start something in Persian history. I have been very much interested in the Sassanid period and studied Emperor Khosrow I for the last 20 years. He is very important not only for Persia but the entire world's history to follow until these days.

Thank you for your suggestion. As a matter of fact I did have such a thread in the old PDF....will start a similar one in here also in the near future🙂

EXpansion of Iran's largest steel producer in Isfahan.. In 2023 Iran was world's 10th largest steel producer in the world with close to 30 million ton..heading towards 55 million ton according to plans (provided the funds for the project are not stolen by the mullahs!!! 😉)

Part of Iran's massive transfer of Persian gulf water to Central Iran and Balochistan..

This giant structure (apparently the world largest) of steel and concrete is part of Water intake structure and port construction required for this the Mega project. The structure is brought in to the location and sunk to act as water intake for the pipes.

Iran's largest water desalination plant is being built by an Iranian company in the shores of Persian gulf ..at 200 thousand cubic meter of water it is 7 times smaller than the world's largest desalination plant in Saudi Arabia (1.4 m million cubic meter of water).
