No we don't want but there action many time suggest that they want to bully India like what they do to other nations. We have enough conflicts in Himalayas post Modi took the Charge. We have taught them lessons and make them retreat. Let us hope that they have learned the lesson. If they haven't, there is a possibility of re occurance of such conflict. Ofcourse, Chinese army is huge but they have offensive design. We have an advantage of defence our land from our own land.

This Type 076 is almost as large as a medium sized US aircraft carrier and runway can be used by J35.

Can Brahmos sink an aircraft carrier?

Difficult to say. Depends on carrier size. Fir Chinese carrier , answer is probably yes Brahmos to be used against carrier has steep dive capability. It takes "S" maneuver and dives on ship with world's most lethal mon nuclear explosive.. Even if carrier is not sund, it will be rendered useless with a big hole in middle and all aircrafts and superstructure shattered into pieces and debris thrown into sea. May be platform still floating in an irreparable condition.

Great fantasy. So the Indian Navy is Rubbish and can only fantasize about using BrahMos to counter Chinese carrier strike groups in Indian ports.

Those frigates, destroyers, supply ships travelling along with battle group will meet same fate. You know, we don't have only one Brahmos. Now, we have mounted extended range Brahmos on sukhoi and we strike a target 4000 k.m away from our soil in excercise Gagan Shakti. We have put them on our ships, submarines, planes, our cost and across the Andaman Nicobar islands chain. We are putting them in lakshadweep. You won't have any space to escape.

Yes - Type 003 has exceeded the size of most of US midsize carriers (Midway, Coral Sea etc. and today's Gerald R. Ford class) which were roughly 300 meters in length and ~45,000 tons displacement. Type 076 is about the size (~260 meters) of the smaller US Essex class carriers listed below (which were succeeded by Forrestal, Kitty Hawk and Enterprise classes - Enterprise being the first class with Nuclear propulsion and it and anything bigger are called super carrier).

USS Lexington (CV-16)

Of course Nuclear powered carriers like the Nimitz class are quite a bit larger.

Chinese aircraft carriers (esp. Type 003) are comparable to midsize US carriers, Indian carriers are much smaller. Matrix below is a bit old though.
