type 076 may be even larger than the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier.

Yes - Type 003 has exceeded the size of most of US midsize carriers (Midway, Coral Sea etc. and today's Gerald R. Ford class) which were roughly 300 meters in length and ~45,000 tons displacement. Type 076 is about the size (~260 meters) of the smaller US Essex class carriers listed below (which were succeeded by Forrestal, Kitty Hawk and Enterprise classes - Enterprise being the first class with Nuclear propulsion and it and anything bigger are called super carrier).

USS Lexington (CV-16)

Of course Nuclear powered carriers like the Nimitz class are quite a bit larger.

I said that Dhanoa sir said that during the exercise Gagan Shakti, India hit a target 4000 k.m from Indian soil. It can be a combination of stand off capability combined with mid air refueling. You can achieve it through supplementary drop tank and long range air to surface stand off cruise missile.

You are correct. The source I was looking at had a mistake. USS Gerald R. Ford is a 100,000 ton carrier with nuclear propulsion.
