When I took holy dip at Triveni Sangam at 10 a.m. on 10th of Feb 2015 at mahakumbh, 41.97 crore people had taken dip upto that time. On 12 th, 4 crore more took holy dip. So officially, it is 46 crore plus holy dips todate. Figure will cross 50 crore easily by 26th of Feb 2025.

There were free food camps (Bhandara), free tea, free snacks. I didn't spent even a single rupee for food except something like We eat thing of our likes like BHEL or other Chat items. On first day, when we were walking through the roads, some kids came running towards us and took us to their Bhandaras for dinner. We are puri, shak, khir, dal , rice etc. I took selfie with them.

There were Bhajans, yoga camps, kathas, free medical camps, free food, free stay etc. Only one thing was very costly and that was transportation. Rest was free.

That number seems a bit off, that's 1/3rd the country.. even if you add the odd foreign arrival to the kumbh.

It lasts for 45 days, so are the numbers for total number of dips or total unique individuals ?
