Now - now, aren't we being a little hasty with the doomsday "basket case" scenario? :)

Dekho bhai - we cannot forget that India still has a GDP per capita nominal lower than Bangladesh.

India NEEDS Bangladesh. More precisely, it's businesspeople (Adanis and Ambanis) do.

I keep being surprised how people pass comments without being properly informed - no offense.

Bangladesh isn't going under anytime soon. Where would Indians sell their Vicco face cream, Parachute Nariel tel, Dabur toothpaste worth about 15 Billion every year? Bangladeshi tourists used to spend Rs. 10,000 crore every month in just the city of Kolkata about a year ago, without medical clinic business. This is per the Kolkata Chamber folks who I have known personally.

Win-win for Indians and Bangladeshis both.

Indian Visa office is hastily re-instating tourist visas for Bangladeshis as well, and kicking out Hasina to UAE, she's yesterday's news now. Paisey ka khel mei sharam ki baat minor cheez hai. Swallow pride and move on. Business must go on.

The US has repeated almost a dozen times in the last three years using it's senior state dept. people that it does not see Bangladesh with an "Indian" lens. Indian control was never going to last in Bangladesh, as we see now. Thanks to your Mota bhai and his hot air comments.

Hasina the Indian agent would have been killed just like her father, if she stayed in place. She decided to leave hastily at 45 minute's notice. The last thing she wants is to come back. I mean - c'mon....

Same story - different decade. Dictatorship does not last in Bangladesh. Entire Sheikh's family was culled in one fell swoop one summer day in 1975. Hasina not being in that group was a curse for Bangladesh. Bangladeshi people have a great amount of patience, but that has its limits as well.

This should be an interesting lesson for semi-educated Indian politicians on Chanakya-Neeti and how they choose stooges for neighbor govts. Also a lesson for educated Indian folks who elect these types of Indian politicians who get elected on discriminatory platforms and principles abhorred universally and globally.

Sooner or later everyone gets their come-uppance, no matter how powerful they think they are.

So what you're saying is that Bangladesh is no different to Middle Eastern or African savages.

Got it bhai.

And then you are surprised at the basket case prophecies.

@Bilal9 remember one thing bro. Indians are nationalists inherently. And India is 80% Hindu.

Indians are also capitalists inherently, and will always be chasing benefit and profit.

These two go hand in hand.

Bangladesh with its population will always be looked at well by India as long as two things do not change:

1) Bangladesh economy and its ability to honor payments on time

2) The safety of Hindus and not working against Indian interests

If either of that change, you will see a Pakistanification of Bangladesh by India.

With the same end results.

That is a silly analogy.

We have money. We have enemies. Who we need to kill. Dead.

So we will buy weapons to help us do that. With hard cash. No groveling. No world bank loans. No favors.

End result is that the enemies will be killed. Dead.
Since my analogy goes against your interest, it automatically becomes a silly analogy. Why do you Indians react when we buy weapons from Pakistan?

The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

You Bangladeshi armchair warriors keep chortling over chicken's neck. Talk is all you can do.

While India went in, and broke Pakistan into two pieces.

In 1971. Followed by the largest surrender of soldiers seen after World War II.

Do something first. Then talk.
You succeeded in 1971 because of us. Without our help you could not have succeeded in breaking Pakistan. How many times have you broken Pakistan after 1971? Have you been succeeded in taking back Azad Kashmir yet?
