I believe Schumer is playing it smart here by making it appear that he is for Palestine. His main goal, as per his speech, is to allow the normalization of Arab states with Israel after Netanyahu does his job of expanding the Israeli state. He supports Zionism regardless of what he says as his end goals are the same.

Schumer is no different than most GCC countries our compromised leaders. All complicit in going along with this. Saudi’s particularly somehow cared about who would rule their southern neighbor and killed tens of thousands while not caring what happens north and west of them and focusing while a few of the GCC countries became friends with Netanyahu as if the Israel occupation never happened. Many now saying that if Israel accepts a ceasefire, Iran has automatically won cuz then Gaza is totally legitimized and so is the Palestinian resistance. Just like how Hezbollah has become a legit entity. If played right by the wily IRGC, this would essentially entail declaring a defacto Palestinian state and its acceptance by western powers. An Iraqi PMU stealth drone swarm launched few days ago from western Iraq slammed into the port of Haifa and another one slammed into Eilat port. Many Israeli's died.
