So many graduates from third world countries like SAARC countries go to Germany for higher studies and work. They feel absolutely safe there. Is it because their stay there is for short period of time?

Its a lovely place. Depressing for a desi like me though.

And higher education is a lot easier to get and cheaper. Even free (tuition) oftentimes.

Even German is no longer necessary.

Yeah, after they declared it's closure, which may happen in 2026, the site is not working properly. It takes longer to load, search feature doesn't work most of the time, etc. Probably they have stopped the maintenance.

Speaking of saving for posterity, I suggested to admins to set time limit for editing threads and individual posts. Presently the setting is such that OP can delete entire thread even after indefinite period of time.
