Islamabad, Pakistan – Amid a flurry of congratulatory messages from political leaders worldwide following his victory in the US presidential election, Donald Trump received a message from an unexpected source: Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan, his “very good friend” who is currently in jail.

In a brief, 55-word post on his X social media account, Khan congratulated Trump on his win and said the will of the American people “held against all odds”.

Trump knows IK is no friend of the US. He won't have forgotten how Niazi tried to maneuver Pk out of US influence and into the lap of Chyna !

He's not known to be one to forget that kind of stuff. He'll make good with the Pak fauz and Shreef bros but. Strategically too, Trump will train his guns on China, and by that I don't mean a hot war, those he isn't interested in. What that means is he'll try to diminish Chyna's influence in the world, and that may include weaning away iron brozullahs of a fauji run Pak from Mr Eleven Jingping.

You'd be foolish to pin your hopes on Trump if you're looking for The Donald to help poor little Niazi.

Bro he and the Repubs swept the entire lot, senate, house, presidency, governor races.. total blowout. He will likely get to appoint 2, maybe 3 justices to their supreme court, those are lifelong appointments.. Trump will leave in 4 years and not return, but his impact will be felt for DECADES.

Try and grasp, samjho the magnitude of it. This was a tremendous victory !

We should all be more optimistic about the future now, WW3 has been averted, he'll stop the Ukraine and Gaza thing I'm quite sure.

IK's time came and went. That is all I can say at this moment, TBH. The US-Pakistan relationship will carry on regardless in substantially a similar manner, as before, with no major changes.

It’s not the fauj. Fauj is pushed up by the chaudhry wadera establishment to cop the blame. Fauji hate being in this position of playing the patsy.
