I think China may be higher on Trump's priority list, and wants to wrest back Pak as an ally, with one eye on Iran.

He doesn't want to get shut out of the region completely with India also unwilling to go fully with his strategy and still close to Russia.

Nobody trusts the US, nobody.. they themselves don't know wtf they doing here.
