Anyone who uses nukes basically commits suicide. Iran has nukes in the basement too, but Iran knows the diff between a few lying around disassembled and actually using them on let’s say Israel. Israel too understands that it can’t really use nukes.

In our case considering our economic condition, I won’t be surprised at all if our nukes aren’t under full US supervision.
