Yup. Played this too. Also heavy. Good carry. But that fuzzy cover is a putoff. Especially when it gets wet.

This side bombay ball mostly used for galli, school cricket.

normal tennis ball me mazaa nahi aata

proper cricket ball se khelna nahi aata... but a big part is actually the surface, you need a proper pitch for real cricket.

at an old school I went to, they actually got a curator to make a genuine pitch, it was off limits to everyone.. allowed hi nahi tha waha paer rakhna.. killed football

but they dig deep, and put different layers of soil and rocks etc before the top layer.. real cricket ka toh scene hi alag hai. I've dicked around at some nets at what used to be called the Feroze Shah Kotla maidan, now renamed to Arun 'chodu' Jaitley stadium.
