There was a legendary burger joint in Poona in the 90s. Jaws. The owner's son in law Jehaan used to run it. Then he got into event management. Jaws Events. And the old bungalow got into a legal wrangle with a shady banya builder. Jaws closed down. But the fat nepali cook used to work then for Olympia kaati kabab rolls off East Street. I would meet him in my young daddy days. He would come over and make burgers for the kiddie parties. Its all in the hands man.

The Jiger needs to be cooked just right Sharma. Its the most delicious thing on the coals.......

We eat it as a salan.......but Iranis/ Afghani do it on the super hot coals.

They take a grilled piece and wrap it in the naan morsel with onions, fresh Mint, Parsley, Cilantro, Chives and its just out of this world good.

He's got a good channel this Iranian Armenian guy.......



Sharma, a perfectly grilled Jiger kabab like this is better than any gosht kabab......once you start eating it, you won't back down until you get gout!

Just ask doc how good Alletti Palletti is when done right, although I'm partial to our version with Fenugreek.
