I didn't follow it that closely, pretty big deal if remains not recovered.. if true, maybe the man still alive but was disappeared for some reason ? /tinfoil theory

His chopper crashed in the mountains in thick fog. They couldn't find it for 12 hrs or so, so they asked the turks if they can help find the crash site. The turks couldn't find it either.

After about 16 hrs time elapsed the Iranians found it after the fog cleared up a bit. So much drama was created.
