This is a great system. It networks DATA received from different sensors like S 400 Radar, Swordfish and other Indian radars and creates a virtual picture and assigns the target to most cost-effective system based on its killing capability. Suppose, Akash can kill a target than it will not allocate the target to S400 as the target can be neutralized by a more cost-effective system. The other beauty of the system is that kill missile knows from where the target is coming even before its dedicated system can see the target.
For Example, Pakistan fires a missile. S 400 System sees it before Rajendra Radar of Akash sees it. It alerts Akash from which direction the target is coming and how fast it is approaching. Even it is possible to fire a missile even before its dedicated Radar can see the enemy target as other sensor has detected it. That is why all international experts said that S400 perform batter in India than in Russia. Against Ukraine, S400 got bad fame. In India, it proved to be a very dangerous system with a 315 KM kill record. Frugal Indian innovation. Indian systems changed the perceptions about the Indian and Chinese weapons 180 Degree in just 4 days of time.
