If your relatives are determined to kill you or your dear ones for property, what would you do?

Police won't give you protection if you can't/don't pay enough bribes. Police are corrupt and crime control is the last thing on their mind.

Probably the answer to above question is: Might is Right. Probably in such situations, the stronger party (rich and powerful) wins and the weaker party can do nothing about it.

How I got scammed by a telecaller - real incident

I was desperately seeking part-time job. Hence I was Googling for job sites. That's how the scammer must have got my number.

He called me to ask if I wanted a part-time job. Then he gave a simple task of giving ratings to resorts and sending the screenshot as evidence of completing the task. He credited 150 INR to my bank account for three tasks. He continued giving more tasks. In between he gave the task related to stuff like trading, stocks, cryptocurrency, etc. For that I had to invest money. By the way I am illiterate in...

How I got scammed by a telecaller - real incident

I was desperately seeking part-time job. Hence I was Googling for job sites. That's how the scammer must have got my number.

Can you think of a solution to the following fraud/scam in cab-ride hailing online app?

For the sake of explanation I will use following acronym:

CRHOA: Cab-Ride Hailing Online App

Cab driver picked the passenger, forced to cancel the CRHOA booking midway but continued the ride without CRHOA (ie. with CRHOA booking cancelled) and then grossly overcharged.

After the customer booked on CRHOA, the cab driver arrived. The customer sits in the cab and the driver begins the journey. When about 15-20% of the total journey distance is covered, the cab driver forces the...
