yes, compressors walas are next level.. im thinking just manual spray walas for now.I have over two dozen airbrushes, some over $350 in price point.
For a newbie like you - choose the Chinese 180T airbrush made by a brand called Fengda. It is a copy of the Japanese IWATA CM Micron and should cost around 20 Quid (pictures below). Great results for not a lot of money. Airbrushes are finicky as they need proper cleaning before and after each painting session. Also paint needs to be diluted properly to run through the airbrush. You need a compressor to have air pressure for the airbrush. Some workshops in India make these from old refrigerator compressors. Picture below.
