If you're really hungry, there is a jumbo wada pav just outside Dadar station (to the right of the entrance of the foot over bridge). Thats pretty cool.

When the kids were small I used to work 3-4 days a week in Bombay.

Would ride my bike up down between Poona and Bombay (that was literally my 180 km commute) with my clean/dirty clothes of the week in a bag bungeed at the back.

I was staying in a guest house in Dadar. Close to the station. Ate a LOT of street food in Bombay. Bombay is heaven food-wise for a working man or woman.

Thousands of small eateries on the roadside. With stools and small tables on the sidewalk in front of each. Food for every palate available. And very cheap.
Doc you are making me nostalgic. I have a very strong urge to travel to Bombay and visit all those places I used to hang out at

Exactly the same reason Rahul did not go.

Samosa chaat.

I love that. More than ragda pattice (thats the one with dahi).
I would always get this in Delhi but told the guy to not add any yogurt or chutney or any vegetable. I ensured the chana salan was piping hot and the samosa fresh.

Never got sick.......thank god!.......
